Delivery Information
At The Restored Furniture Place, we have 2 ways of you receiving your furniture:
We will contact you via phone call to arrange collection or delivery after purchase!

Collection
Collection is perhaps the fastest way to receive your furniture as you can collect from 1 working day after your purchase. After your purchase we will contact you via phone call to arrange a collection date. On the day of collection simply reverse up to the front door of our shop and members of our team will assist you with loading the furniture into the vehicle.
Top tip: Bring some sheets or something to help pack the items into your vehicle so that no damage is caused during transport!

Areas we cover for delivery:
By the term “Nationwide” we mean we can deliver to the following areas:
- Mainland England
- Mainland Wales
- Mainland Scotland up to about Glasgow, Perth and Dundee*

Delivery by our 2 man team
We have the resources to be able to deliver your furniture ourselves to these locations: Cumbria, Lancashire, South West Scotland, Northumberland, Durham, North and West Yorkshire. Live out of these areas? See collection or delivery by courier.
Delivery is a two-man team who will place the furniture in any room(s) of your choosing and will also do any building of furniture that is required. Delivery is generally up to 3 weeks to give us time to plan routes. After purchase we will contact you via phone call to arrange a delivery day. This will then be narrowed down to a 3-hour slot closer to the day of delivery.
Delivery via Courier
A courier service will be used for areas out of our delivery reach. They may also be used to assist us in getting deliveries completed during busy periods. We will wrap your items up with protective coverings to prevent any accidental damage. Once the courier has collected from us we let you know and then they will contact you directly to arrange your delivery.
Please note: you must be flexible in taking delivery by courier for 3 reasons:
- The date and time for delivery will when the courier is in your area for their efficiency!
- You may have to place the item(s) in your room(s) yourself as the courier may not assist.
- You would have to do any building of the furniture that may be required.
After purchase we will contact you via phone call to explain the whole process.
Festive Delivery and Collection Information
Collection:
During the festive period you may collect on days we are open provided collection has been pre arranged in advance! You can find our updated festive opening times on our contact us page, Google or on Facebook.
Local Delivery:
If you would like furniture delivered before Christmas the last chance to buy is Saturday 6th December. This is subject to availability and we would urge you to contact us before purchasing just to check we can deliver in time.
Delivery which requires a courier:
If you would like furniture delivered before Christmas and you would require delivery via a courier the last chance chance to buy is Wednesday 3rd of December. This again could be subject to availability and we would urge you to contact us before buying just to make sure!
If you DO NOT require your furniture before Christmas, you are still more than welcome to buy anytime and we will process delivery in the New Year!
Delivery Time
Due to being a restored shop it is in our interest to deliver as quickly as we can! We say delivery is generally up to 3 weeks to give us time to plan efficient routes. If we do not manage to get an efficient route to your area, we may extend the delivery time by another 14 days if required and you will be notified of this. If we want to deliver and you cannot accept delivery on our chosen day, we reserve the right to extend the delivery timeframe by another 14 days.
Delivery by courier could take longer due to being completed by a third-party.
Notes from Us
Please make sure that it is possible for your purchases to be delivered to the room of your choice. This includes checking sizes thoroughly before placing your order to ensure they will fit through doors, corridors, and up staircases, if applicable. Please also ensure that the delivery vehicle has sufficient unobstructed access to your property.
