About the Sideboard
This is a fantastic example of the quality French solid oak furniture we regularly look for. This sideboard was manufactured by a renowned French furniture maker known for producing some of the finest quality furniture available.
As one of the largest sideboards we stock, this piece provides an enormous amount of usable storage. The 3 drawers are ideal for cutlery, table linen, paperwork and smaller household items, while the 3 large lockable cupboards provide plenty of room for crockery, serving dishes, glassware and larger items.
A large shelf runs across all 3 cupboard sections, effectively creating two levels of storage. The shelf is removable, allowing you to create additional height when storing particularly large items.
The generous top also provides an impressive surface for lamps, photographs, artwork or decorative pieces. Furniture made completely from solid oak with this weight, scale and level of craftsmanship is extremely expensive to buy new today, making this a fantastic opportunity to own a genuinely substantial piece of furniture built to last.

Like all of our restored furniture, using our 40+ years’ experience in restoration this sideboard has been professionally restored by us to bring it back to a condition we’re proud to sell.
This particular sideboard has had its old finish carefully removed by hand before being professionally refinished with a Honey Briwax; bringing out the beautiful natural grain and character of the wood.
