About the Sideboard
This is a fantastic example of the quality French solid oak furniture we regularly look for. This sideboard was manufactured by a renowned French furniture maker known for producing some of the finest quality furniture available.
This substantial sideboard provides an excellent amount of usable storage, with 4 deep drawers positioned between 2 large lockable cupboards.
The drawers are ideal for cutlery, table linen, paperwork and smaller household essentials, while the cupboards provide generous concealed storage for larger items such as crockery, glassware, serving dishes and kitchen or dining-room essentials.
Inside the cupboards are 4 fixed shelves, helping to divide the available space and make the substantial interior much easier to organise. Both cupboard doors lock and come with 2 keys.
Beyond its storage, the sheer amount of quality solid oak used in this piece gives it a particularly substantial feel. Furniture of comparable construction and craftsmanship is rarely produced today, and new furniture of this calibre can be extremely expensive, making this an excellent opportunity to own a proper piece of traditional French furniture.

Like all of our restored furniture, using our 40+ years’ experience in restoration this sideboard has been professionally restored by us to bring it back to a condition we’re proud to sell.
This particular sideboard has had its old finish carefully removed by hand before being professionally refinished with a Honey Briwax; bringing out the beautiful natural grain and character of the wood.
