About the Sideboard
This is a fantastic example of the quality French solid oak furniture we regularly look for. This sideboard was manufactured by a renowned French furniture maker known for producing some of the finest quality furniture available.
The extra-large and unusually high proportions make this a particularly useful sideboard for anyone wanting a serious amount of storage without moving to a full dresser.
Its generous enclosed storage provides plenty of room for crockery, serving dishes, glassware, table linen and larger household items, while the substantial top creates an enormous additional surface for lamps, photographs, ornaments or serving space in a dining room.
Despite its traditional French styling, the sheer amount of storage means it could work equally well in a dining room, living room or large hallway.

Like all of our restored furniture, using our 40+ years’ experience in restoration this sideboard has been professionally restored by us to bring it back to a condition we’re proud to sell.
This particular sideboard only required selective areas of the old finish to be carefully removed. We then expertly blended and balanced the colour throughout, retaining as much of the original finish and character as possible while achieving a beautifully even appearance.
Notes
Please keep in mind this is a large, heavy unit and will struggle to navigate small homes upon delivery. The sideboard is all one piece and requires no assembly.
