About the Sideboard
This is a fantastic example of the quality French solid oak furniture we regularly look for. This sideboard was manufactured by a renowned French furniture maker known for producing some of the finest quality furniture available.
One of the biggest strengths of this sideboard is its surprisingly large amount of storage despite its compact proportions. Behind the 2 doors is a particularly generous cupboard, making this a great choice where space is limited.
Inside is 1 removable shelf, creating two useful levels of storage for crockery, serving dishes, glassware and larger household items. The shelf can also be completely removed when additional height is needed. An internal drawer runs underneath the shelf, providing a separate space for smaller items that you want to keep organised.
Its compact footprint makes it particularly useful in a dining room, living room or hallway. Like all of our restored furniture, using our 40+ years’ experience in restoration this sideboard has been professionally restored by us to bring it back to a condition we’re proud to sell.
This particular sideboard has had its old finish carefully removed by hand before being professionally refinished with a Honey Briwax; bringing out the beautiful natural grain and character of the wood.
