About the Coffee Table
This solid oak dresser is known to us as a Vancouver, more commonly known as Besp-Oak, a renowned furniture maker celebrated for producing some of the finest solid oak furniture available.
This is a brilliant option if you want the quality of a proper solid oak coffee table without having a large piece dominating your living room. The compact square top provides plenty of space for drinks, books and everyday essentials while remaining easy to position.
Underneath is a large drawer that runs right through the table, allowing it to be opened from either side. It’s ideal for keeping remote controls, chargers, magazines and other smaller living-room items tucked neatly out of sight.
The double-sided design is particularly useful if the table sits between sofas or centrally within a seating area, as you don’t have to worry about which direction the drawer faces.
Despite being one of the smaller coffee tables, you’re still getting completely solid oak construction rather than lightweight oak-effect furniture. Comparable new furniture made from quality solid oak can be very expensive today.

Like all of our restored furniture, using our 40+ years’ experience in restoration this coffee table has been professionally restored by us to bring it back to a condition we’re proud to sell.
This particular coffee table has had its old finish carefully removed by hand before being professionally refinished with a Honey Briwax; bringing out the beautiful natural grain and character of the wood.
