About the TV Unit
This is a particularly good option if you want the quality and substantial feel of top-end solid oak furniture in a smaller TV unit. Its corner shape allows it to sit neatly within the room without requiring the wall space of a conventional straight TV stand.
Behind the 2 glazed doors is useful storage for TV boxes, games consoles and other media equipment, with a fixed internal shelf helping to keep everything organised.
The oak has been deliberately distressed by the manufacturer using features such as simulated woodworm, scratches, marks and dents. These details are designed to give the piece its aged, rustic character rather than being signs of damage.
Most importantly, the quality of the oak and construction is exceptional. Comparable new furniture made from chunky solid oak to this sort of standard can be very expensive today, particularly when combined with this level of traditional character and craftsmanship.
Professionally Restored by Us
Like all of our restored furniture, using our 40+ years’ experience in restoration this TV unit has been professionally restored by us to bring it back to a condition we’re proud to sell.
This particular TV unit only required selective areas of the old finish to be carefully removed. We then expertly blended and balanced the colour throughout, retaining as much of the original finish and character as possible while achieving a beautifully even appearance.
Notes
The TV unit is constructed as one complete piece and requires no assembly, so it will arrive ready to be placed straight into position in your home.
