About the Chest of Drawers
Don’t let the smaller proportions fool you – this is an incredibly substantial piece of solid oak furniture with the sort of weight and construction normally associated with much larger pieces.
The 3 spacious drawers run on metal runners for smooth, easy operation, providing plenty of room for folded clothing, underwear, accessories and other everyday essentials.
Its size also makes it particularly versatile. As well as a traditional bedroom chest, it could work brilliantly as a large bedside table or occasional storage piece, with the substantial solid oak top providing plenty of additional surface space.
The raised-panel sides and chunky construction really set this piece apart from an ordinary small chest. Comparable new furniture made from this amount of quality solid oak can be very expensive today.
Professionally Restored by Us
Like all of our restored furniture, using our 40+ years’ experience in restoration this chest of drawers has been professionally restored by us to bring it back to a condition we’re proud to sell.
This particular chest of drawers only required selective areas of the old finish to be carefully removed. We then expertly blended and balanced the colour throughout, retaining as much of the original finish and character as possible while achieving a beautifully even appearance.
Notes
The chest of drawers is constructed as one complete piece and requires no assembly, so it will arrive ready to be placed straight into position in your home.
