About the Dining Set
The biggest advantage of this table is the combination of serious size and excellent flexibility. With neither, one or both draw leaves extended, you have 3 different table sizes, allowing it to adapt from everyday family dining to much larger gatherings.
Both leaves simply draw out from underneath the tabletop when required and slide neatly back underneath afterwards, meaning there are no loose extension sections to find storage for elsewhere in the home.
Fully extended, the table can accommodate up to 10 people, making it an excellent choice for larger families, Christmas dinners, entertaining and special occasions.
The set comes complete with 6 solid oak ladderback chairs with newly upholstered charcoal grey padded seats, providing comfortable seating while complementing the substantial table beautifully.
The traditional distressing – including simulated woodworm, scratches, marks and dents – gives the oak an intentionally aged appearance and ensures the set has plenty of character. With the sheer amount of quality solid oak used throughout, new dining furniture of comparable size and construction can be extremely expensive today.
Professionally Restored by Us
Like all of our restored furniture, using our 40+ years’ experience in restoration this table and chairs has been professionally restored by us to bring it back to a condition we’re proud to sell.
This particular table and chairs has had its old finish carefully removed by hand before being professionally refinished with a Honey Briwax; bringing out the beautiful natural grain and character of the wood. The seat pads were also professionally reupholstered in a brand-new charcoal grey fabric, giving the chairs a fresh and attractive finish.
Notes
For easier delivery and access into your home, the table legs can be conveniently removed and reattached once in position.
