About the Court Cupboard

This is an extremely practical piece, with 3 drawers and 5 doors providing plenty of separate storage areas for keeping everything from cutlery and table linen to crockery, serving dishes and larger household items organised.

The lower cupboards feature a fixed shelf running across the full cupboard space, effectively creating two levels of storage and making excellent use of the available height. Its generous top also provides plenty of additional display space.

Being considerably lower than a traditional full-height dresser makes it a great option for anyone wanting substantial storage without dominating the room. Furniture with this level of oak construction, carving and traditional craftsmanship can be extremely expensive to buy new today, making a quality Old Charm piece like this excellent value for furniture of this calibre.

Professionally Restored by Us

Like all of our restored furniture, using our 40+ years’ experience in restoration this court cupboard has been professionally restored by us to bring it back to a condition we’re proud to sell.

This particular court cupboard has had its old finish carefully removed by hand before being professionally refinished with a Honey Briwax; bringing out the beautiful natural grain and character of the wood. We also replaced the broken 2 upper (was) glass doors with oak panels which blend in perfectly with the piece.

Notes

This dresser is split into 2 sections for delivery; the sideboard and the dresser top. The dresser top just sits on top of the sideboard when in place.
