About the Bookcase
With 4 fixed shelves, this bookcase provides plenty of practical open storage for books, photographs, ornaments, plants and other decorative pieces.
The top can also be used as an additional surface, giving you even more display space and making excellent use of the bookcase’s overall size.
Its distinctive Z-frame design makes it much more interesting than a conventional bookcase, while the solid oak construction gives it a reassuringly substantial feel. New solid oak furniture built to this level of quality can be very expensive today, making this a fantastic opportunity to own a practical and characterful piece at much better value.
Professionally Restored by Us
Like all of our restored furniture, using our 40+ years’ experience in restoration this bookcase has been professionally restored by us to bring it back to a condition we’re proud to sell.
This particular bookcase has had its old finish carefully removed by hand before being professionally refinished with a Honey Briwax; bringing out the beautiful natural grain and character of the wood.
Notes
The bookcase is constructed as one complete piece and requires no assembly, so it will arrive ready to be placed straight into position in your home.
