About the Console Table
Despite being a small console table offers a surprisingly useful amount of storage. The single door opens to reveal a large cupboard, providing plenty of concealed space for household essentials that you’d rather keep neatly out of sight.
The generous top also provides a useful surface for a lamp, mirror, photographs, flowers or decorative pieces, making it particularly well suited to a hallway, living room or dining room.
Its combination of carved detailing, pedestal legs and rich solid oak construction gives it far more presence than a typical modern console table. Furniture made from solid oak to a comparable standard is increasingly difficult to find and can be extremely expensive when purchased new today.
Professionally Restored by Us
Like all of our restored furniture, using our 40+ years’ experience in restoration this console table has been professionally restored by us to bring it back to a condition we’re proud to sell.
This particular console table has had its old finish carefully removed by hand before being professionally refinished with a Honey Briwax; bringing out the beautiful natural grain and character of the wood.
Notes
The console table is all one piece and requires no assembly.
