About the Dining Set
Manufactured by a renowned French furniture maker known for producing some of the finest furniture available, this table and chairs showcases the company’s distinctive hand-distressed finish. Carefully applied details such as simulated woodworm, scratches, marks, and dents create an authentic aged appearance, ensuring each table has its own unique character and charm.
The 2 extension leaves give this enormous table excellent versatility, allowing you to create additional dining space whenever it’s needed. Fully extended, the table can accommodate up to 10 people, making it particularly impressive for large families, entertaining and special occasions.
One of its best features is the clever self-storing extension system. When the leaves aren’t required, they simply slide underneath the table at either end, meaning there are no separate sections to find storage for elsewhere in the home.
The set comes complete with 8 solid oak chairs – 6 traditional ladderback dining chairs and 2 matching carver chairs for the ends of the table. All feature traditional rush seats, creating a beautifully coordinated dining set.

Professionally Restored by Us
Like all of our restored furniture, using our 40+ years’ experience in restoration this table and chairs has been professionally restored by us to bring it back to a condition we’re proud to sell.
This particular table and chairs has had its old finish carefully removed by hand before being professionally refinished with a Honey Briwax; bringing out the beautiful natural grain and character of the wood.
In terms of the rush seats, they aren’t perfect and do have the odd blemish here and there (as seen in photos) but we think it just adds to the character of the table; it is distressed after all!
Notes
When not in use, the leaves store underneath the table.
The frame of the table is all one piece when the table top is unscrewed but it should navigate most houses for delivery.
