About the Dining Set
The biggest advantage of this set is how efficiently it uses space. It comfortably seats up to 4 people while allowing all 4 chairs to tuck completely underneath the tabletop when they’re not being used, helping to keep the overall footprint remarkably compact.
This makes it particularly well suited to smaller kitchens, dining rooms, cottages and apartments where a larger dining set could easily overwhelm the available space.
The table is fixed rather than extending, giving it a straightforward, strong and sturdy construction with no extension mechanisms or separate leaves to worry about.
It comes complete with 4 oak ladderback chairs with dark brown faux-leather padded seats, creating a comfortable and practical everyday dining set.
Despite its compact size, you’re still getting the quality and character of a proper solid oak table with quality oak chairs. Comparable new solid wood dining furniture can be very expensive today.
Professionally Restored by Us
Like all of our restored furniture, using our 40+ years’ experience in restoration this table and chairs has been professionally restored by us to bring it back to a condition we’re proud to sell.
This particular set only required selective areas of the old finish to be carefully removed. We then expertly blended and balanced the colour throughout, retaining as much of the original finish and character as possible while achieving a beautifully even appearance.
The chair pads have also been thoroughly cleaned and tidied up. There are a few very minor marks here and there, but these are barely noticeable and we didn’t feel they justified unnecessarily reupholstering otherwise good seat pads.
If you would prefer them recovered, we can offer this service for £15 per seat pad, allowing you to choose a fresh new fabric if desired.
Notes
For easier delivery and access into your home, the table legs can be conveniently removed and reattached once in position.
